WASHINGTON D.C. - Congressman Dan Boren today issued the following statement regarding the death of Musab al Zarqawi, the most wanted terrorist in Iraq:

“Our Armed Forces are to be commended for their successful attack on the most wanted man in Iraq.  Musab al Zarqawi used terror as means to stall progress and his death brings renewed hope for Iraq. 

 

“American military forces and the Iraqis working with them have overcome a significant obstacle.  As operations continue, Americans and Iraqis alike must remember that significant work remains in order to ensure a stable and secure Iraq.”
