This project consists of three portions. Section 1 begins at the SH3/SH7 intersection on the east side of Antlers and extends eastward 5.6 miles to Dela in Pushmataha County; Section 2 begins on the east side of the Pine Creek Reservoir SH 3 crossing and extends east 11.6 miles to SH 98; and, Section 3 extends from SH 98 east 11.1 miles to near the SH 3/US 59 intersection. The funding will be utilized to expedite the design, right of way purchase, and construction of this critical project.

The funding will be utilized to expedite the design, right of way acquisition, and construction of this critical transportation project. The project will greatly improve public safety by eliminating several at-grade railroad crossing, improve traffic flow across one of the fastest growing communities in Oklahoma, and cut emergency response times for first responders who must now wait on trains when crossing the City. The project has full support of the State of Oklahoma, City of Claremore, Rogers County, the Cherokee Nation, and the BNSF Railroad.
